“My natural hair journey started in college when I was spending beyond my means to weave it or straighten it – you name it. I felt the need to be more responsible. I stopped going to the salon and stopped purchasing a large amount of goods, and just let it go. I got lots of interesting comments too … some people even thought I was taking microscopic curling irons to it. I just let it bloom and grow – it started to inspire my biological sisters and they started to do things with their own hair too.” (Shana Napier, Cali) Click photo to watch video.
